Internet TV SPORTS.md and the football club Olimpia (Bălţi, Moldova) have opened a new trend in football, and namely football tourism.
Since December, 21 2009 to March, 21 2010 on the club's official website, www.fcolimpia.md will be held a competition among football fans and the the winner will be taken by the Olimpia team to play in the Europe or Champions League matches with the regular players. ¶
Each healthy man between the age of 18 and 60 can become the participant of the contest. All you have to do is to fill in an application on the Olimpia site and pay the initial fee of 300 euros for registration. Also you have to point out the amount you are ready to spend to fulfill your dream.
The most important you have to remember is that the amount of money you are ready to pay must not be less than 10,000 euros. On March 22 will be decided the winner, who will be the one ready to spend more money than anyone else in order to make his dream come true. The one who pays the million from the very beginning will be declared immediately the winner.
The winner will sign in a contract with the Olimpia club, which guarantees the performance in the Europe League or Champions League games with the team's regular players.
FC Olimpia is ready to make the dream of a single person out of six and a half billion leaving on this planet to come true. The club is ready to make out of this person a football star, regardless his age, job or hobbies, within a very short period - just a few days. It will cost you very little money, from 10 thousand to a million euros, to win the contest with a very promising name: "Become a football star in a moment!"
The next day after signing the contract this person will become famous all over the world! Mass-media will be focused just on him: articles in newspapers, news on TV, all the internet will be talking about him. For a while he will become more popular than such football stars as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho. The club's vice-president, Serghei Chiseliov explains all the details about the contest and the way the squad from Bălţi is going to spend the earned money:
Today people fly in cosmos for money. Tis project is unique and adventurous. We are ready to sell a position in the team and give someone the chance to perform in the European competitions. At the same time we have the chance to earn money and invest them in the development of the vernacular football. None of the club's has the possibility today to aford itself such an adventure. At least we want to try it. There are many players who dreamt to become football players. Or their children, grandchildren, nephews, relatives and so on. There are people who can buy this place for someone else as a gift. These can be football stars, or famous artists and singers who have played football before but never achieved the success they would have liked.
- How did this idea coma up to you?
-The idea came to us a while ago, after the discussion with the leader of the project Internet TV SPORTS.md. It is the very right moment for such a project. Because now our wishes are joined by great possibilities. For four seasons since I am in the club, Olimpia is now as close as never to reach the European competition. Olimpia passes through its best season, both in the National Championship and the Moldova Cup tournament. In the National Championship Olimpia is now on the 4th position, which gives us the right to perform in the European Cups. In the Moldova Cup competition we have already reached the semifinals, which is also a chance to reach the European stage.
- Why do you believe that within such a short period you can make this person known worldwide?
- After signing the contract, this person will definitely become famous all over the world. Mass media will keep an eye on him all the time, articles in newspapers, news on TV, all the internet will be talking about him. This is a unique project and people will get interested. For a while he will become more popular than such football stars as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi or Ronaldinhio. But the most interesting is just to follow. He will come to Moldova, will find out what is a real training. Maybe he will play in the National Championship or the Cup matches. This may be his first match before the one played on the European arena. We will do our best to help him to get used to a footballer's life, till the 2nd half of the championship. Olimpia will do its best top design a new football star. I hope that we can achieve success on the European arena this year. And the person who will join us will have the chance to experience the European football life.
- How will you spend the earned money?
- The money will be spent on the development of the football in our city, our country, especially we have to focus on teh future of our football - the children and junior teams of the Olimpia football school. we hope to grow up our own football stars to become known worldwide.
